KALANI NG
Sports and fitness has always been a part of
Kalani Ng's life! Born into an athletic family and raised on the
Windward side of O'ahu, he began playing soccer and basketball at the
age of five, continuing on to earn the Presidential Fitness Award
during high school.
While serving in Irag, Kalani won the 2004 First
Annual Kirkuk Grappling Tournament and was awarded the Army Physical
Fitness Patch every time he was tested. He also enjoys boxing,
wrestling, and kickboxing, and currently coaches wrestling at Radford
High school. Kalani now trains in mixed martial arts for the Jesus Is
Lord grappling team.
Although Kalani loves to train hard in fitness and martial arts, he is
also earning a degree in exercise and sports medicine. Kalani is a
Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Adventure Fitness Trainer.
He has worked as a medical technician, an army medic, and he has four
years of experience as a Nationally Registered EMT. Kalani is also
working towards becoming a Certified Functional Training Specialist and
Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) Specialist. |

SHANNA NG
Shanna Ng was born on the Big Island and like
Kalani was raised on the Windward side of O'ahu. For 3 ½ years,
Shanna was devoted to teaching and caring for children at the Castle
Medical Center Child Development Center. Now, ready for a new
adventure, Shanna joins Kalani and brings her own natural energy,
enthusiasm, and motivating attitude to help people achieve their
fitness goals. Drawing on her experiences caring for young children,
Shanna's patience and encouraging nature compliments Kalani's drive.
Shanna is a Certified Adventure Fitness Trainer and is also certified
in First Aid and CPR. While working at Castle Medical Center, Shanna
was a PATCH Certified childcare giver. She also has an AA in liberal
arts from Windward Community College. |

John Spencer Ellis has been a fitness
educator for over 14 years. In this time, he has trained over
2,000 clients and 40,000 fitness professionals.
The combination of John's formal education, practical
experience and fun approach to exercise, have made his camps
very exciting and popular.

John has been involved with health and
fitness since the age of twelve and has become one of the most
diversely trained fitness professionals in the United States. He
holds two bachelors degrees; one in business and the other in
health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He has
more than fifteen certifications, which include being a
certified massage therapist, plyometric instructor, self-defense
instructor, fitness kick boxing instructor, water fitness
instructor, exercise rehabilitation specialist, golf
conditioning specialist, Pilates instructor, personal trainer,
clinical hypnotherapist, master PACE circuit training
instructor, and yoga instructor. John has a 2nd degree black
belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon and
finished 5th in the U.S. National Biathlon (run/bike)
Championships. He has extensive training in mind-body fitness
and alternative health. John is the author of "How Badly Do
you Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," a
contributor to "Power of Champions," and the Fitness
Editor of OC Flair magazine. His fitness articles and
interviews have been featured in over 30 publications, and he is
a frequent consultant to the world's media on health, fitness
and lifestyle topics.
His medical training includes being a
licensed radiological technologist, certified medical assistant,
and training in McKenzie rehabilitation exercises. He has worked
in fitness centers, medical clinics, and has promoted sporting
events in CA.
In addition, John is on the Advisory
Board for the American Association of Personal Trainers and is a
Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. He oversees
operations at his facilities;

Christina Lucy teaches the 9:00 a.m. boot
camp in Orange County, CA. For over 14 years,
Christina has taught aerobics and group fitness classes for
many
prestigious fitness clubs and spas throughout the country.
She has
undergone training in challenge course administration and
safety. She
is a facilitator for the rope's course at Spencer Escape in
Big Bear.
She is certified by NESTA as a personal trainer and holds
a PACE
circuit training instructor certification. Christina is also
a
running coach and has developed the EZ8
Women's Running Camp. She has been featured in
3 fitness videos, and soon to be in
the upcoming fitness video "The OC Body".

Mark Baines- Strength Conditioning & Fitness Consultant
Mark Baines received his degree in business
management in 1993 from Gonzaga University where he also obtained
secondary teaching certification in social studies. Mark is completing
his Masters degree in exercise science. He holds certifications as a
Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and
holds personal training certifications from the NASM, NESTA, ISSA, and
NCCPT. He worked as a teacher, high school basketball coach, cross
country and track coach for more than five years before working as a
personal trainer and strength coach for the last five years. He taught
social studies, English, math and computer applications for four years
in Seattle, WA before moving to southern California to train for the
2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Mark ran at the collegiate
level at Gonzaga University, but his times fell short of the 2000 U.S.
Olympic Trials. He still trains today in the 400 and 800m dash. He now
trains independently with his business, One Way 2 Fitness, and works
with athletes and non-athletes of all levels. He has been teaching
personal training certification courses for the past two years and will
continue to teach, coach and instruct in some capacity. Mark instructs
our Irvine Adventure Boot Camp.

Bee Eschenwald~ Coaching Consultant
Bee has been coaching multi-sport athletes
individually since 2002. Since training with Dave Scott, she has helped
more than 100 novice athletes achieve some very impressive goals as
part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training
(TNT) program.
Bee coaching career has also included swimming at Irvine Novaquatics.
There she trained children in the 8 and under division. She studied
under Dave Salo, Head Coach for Nova and the USA Olympic coach for 1990
& 1994. Bee also coached Volleyball for Neuman College in
Pennsylvania in 1990 and for Saddleback College in California in 1991.
Bee has a BA in International Business from
California State University, Fullerton and certifications which include
ASCA (The American Swimming Coaches Association) Level One coach, CPR,
Water Safety, and Spinning Instructor by Johnny G. She also teaches
spinning classes for www.OCBootcamp.com.
Bee was coached by Joe Friel associate, Gordo Byrn
for 3 years for her Ironman achievements. She has completed her tenth
Ironman in 2005. She has competed in countless 10k races, ½
marathons and marathons, including the Boston marathon in 1999. She
completed a few sprint triathlons in 1990 & 1991 and got back into
racing in 1999 when she signed up for the Vineman ½ Ironman.
